I am Jette.
A country girl with big dreams, crazy ideas, spontaneous creative projects and lots of love in her heart.
Since 2018, handmade jewelry has accompanied me almost every day.
The search for a new hobby turned into a great passion.
My fable for beautiful colors, materials and the combination of craftsmanship, photography as well as the contact with wonderful people that comes about, has fulfilled me every day since then.
At the time, I would not have believed that jewelry would change your life, but I was taught better.
It can get under your skin, bring people together, give strength and make you feel special, even on your worst days.
That's why I design, manufacture and sell accessories with stories, with the desire to make everyone who wears them shine in the morning.

Behind the brand
According to my nature, the idea for ocean of dreams arose during a cozy afternoon in the country, so spontaneously that it even surprised me.
To understand the story, I'll start from the beginning:
In 2018 I started making jewelry myself for the first time and my first handmade label "Handmade by Jette" quickly developed from this.
Numerous successful projects followed, a wonderful customer base emerged, friendships began and my accessories became part of everyday life for many.
In 2020 a lot changed in my life, so in early 2021 I decided to develop myself further and start something new.
It quickly became clear that it should continue to be about handmade products and jewelry, because this passion and everything that I have learned and experienced through it burns in me.

But what should it look like?
I asked myself what defines me personally, what I value, what feelings I feel
I wanted to transport and, above all, I wanted to tell a story. It should be more than one
Be name and products.
"Ocean of dreams" - that's what my brand should be called!
A sea full of dreams, possibilities and stories.
From the love of the unfathomable universe as well as the depths of the underwater world I connected
on the one hand, everything that fascinated me and everything that we are basically made of:
Water and stardust, in the word as well as in the symbols of the logo.
Quality instead of quantity, sustainable products, high-quality materials and, above all, love
the details are now the values behind OOD.
Creative freedom, the thought that anything is possible and the constant reaching for the stars
drive me and should always be present as a thought when wearing the jewelry.
ocean of dreams is the embodiment of a philosophy that we will carry out into the world together!
It is my heart project through and through.
But I wouldn't be able to manage all these wonderful projects on my own.
There are many loving people behind OOD who support me, inspire me or simply listen to my ideas.
The greatest support, right from the start, was and is my friend Jonas, who has been going through all the ups and downs with me for 5 years and is my rock.
Without him, nothing would be the way it is now & that's why he should of course not go unmentioned in our story!
He is my right hand when it comes to new designs, takes all the wonderful pictures in which you can see me as a "model", he is my favorite shipping assistant, marketing manager and the greatest source of inspiration of all.
Jonas shares the love of detail and the quality, not only of the products but also of the appearance of ocean of dreams, is so important to him that he spends a few hundred hours listening to me, working out and improving the ideas, only to be incredible in the end Complete projects.
While I am designing new pieces of jewelry, it is he who increases my motivation through little things, creates space for creative ideas and always stays by my side.
